In 1965, the iconic troubadour Bob Dylan toured the United Kingdom at the age of 23, and director D.A. Pennebaker was allowed behind the scenes to provide one of the most intimate glimpses of the songwriter. The film pulls back the curtain on the folk messiah at the end of his relationship with Joan Baez and on the cusp of his creative shift toward rock music. A celebration of Dylan’s 80th birthday.

Dress up as Bob and get in free! Also featuring a Subterranean Homesick Projection in our lobby, and a record store popup courtesy of Darkside Records.

Mini concerts with Juan Cardona, Jr. on the Mighty Wurlitzer Organ take place 30 minutes before each film and are made possible by the New York Theatre Organ Society (NYTOS).

The Bardavon/UPAC film series is sponsored by The Upstate Coalition for a Fairgame, Marshall & Sterling, Herzog’s and Rondout Savings Bank.
