Just Call Me God
The previously announced Saturday November 2 performance of John Malkovich in the play Just Call Me God at UPAC has been cancelled due to conflicts in the actor’s film schedule. Tickets holders should seek refunds at their point of purchase. The Bardavon apologizes for any inconvenience.
John Malkovich takes no prisoners in his theatre projects and Just Call Me God is no exception. This collaboration with author Michael Sturminger and musician Martin Haselböck charts the last hour of a dictator’s life, in the company of a TV interviewer and organist as he gives his sardonic final speech, engages in game-playing (and foreplay) with the journalist then enacts a sudden role reversal.
