Season 2003-2004 Event

Very Eric Carle

Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia Following the international success of The Very Hungry Caterpillar and The Very Quiet Cricket, Mermaid Theatre draws upon the magic of black light to capture the charm of three favorite Eric Carle stories. High up in a beautiful blue sky, a Little Cloud changes into various shapes of things he has seen. An adventurous trip to the zoo teaches The Mixed-Up Chameleon the importance of being true to oneself. In The Very Busy Spider, a spider builds a web on a farmyard fence and ignores the playful banter of the barnyard animals. These whimsical tales are much beloved by several generations and have been translated into twenty languages. This is a nonshushing show – oohing and aahing are encouraged! The Bardavon Opera House, Inc. is a non-profit, member based organization. The 2003-2004 Daytime Performance Series is made possible, in part, with public funds from the New York State Council on the Arts, a State Agency.
