America with the Hudson Valley Philharmonic

Dutchess County, WPDH, the Poughkeepsie Journal and the Bardavon present a pre-Labor Day celebration for the whole family. Bring a picnic, lawn chair, and blanket and enjoy one of the greatest rock & roll bands of all time. America, featuring Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell will perform all their hits—A Horse With No Name, Ventura Highway, You Can Do Magic, Tin Man, Sister Golden Hair, Daisy Jane, Muskrat Love, Sandman and more—in a rare concert with the region’s premier symphony orchestra under the direction of Randall Craig Fleischer, and dont miss the spectacular fireworks grand finale!

Also playing an important role in the event is the New Hamburg Fire District - Engine #1 who in conjunction with Dutchess County Sheriff's Department, Town of Poughkeepsie Police, Dutchess County and Bardavon staff will be on duty to help with traffic flow and parking. The New Hamburg Fire District is also supplying EMS coverage with Alamo ambulance service and refreshments will be available for purchase courtesy of the New Hamburg fire department during the entire event including: hamburgers, hot dogs, sausage & pepper grinders, along with ice cream and a full compliment of beverages.

Bowdoin Park Rules & Regulations
Only one pass is needed per motor vehicle with multiple passengers. Your parking pass is your admission to the concert site. No vehicle will be admitted without a parking pass. No RVs, buses or campers allowed on site. The following items are not allowed inside the park: ALCOHOL, dogs, fireworks, video equipment, tape recorders, cooking equipment, cameras, weapons or illegal drugs. The presenter reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone. The pass purchased for this event licenses the holder to park one motor vehicle in the designated parking areas of Bowdoin Park, as directed. The presenters and park assume no responsibility for theft, loss, or damage to any motor vehicle or any of the contents therein, it being understood that the driver of the motor vehicle has full control of the motor vehicle at all times and has not in any way relinquished the care, custody or control of the automobile or its contents or waived his/her responsibility to park and lock it. Only a license to park is granted hereby and no bailment is created. NO REFUNDS/NO EXCHANGES. Event will be held rain or shine.
