Season 2005-2006 Event
Hip Hop Theater
Baba Isreal and members of Playback NYC bring their "School of Hip-Hop" to students from Poughkeepsie's Middle and Columbus schools. Playback's professional actors, musicians and DJs then join in the performance of the kid's original spoken word, ryhmes and choreographed movements.
This project was made possible by funding provided by the Dutchess County Arts Council's 2005-2006 Arts in Education Program, with the support from the New York State Council on the Arts and support of the Poughkeepsie City School District.
