Matthais Kuchta returns this season with his interpretation of the well known tale of the Princess and the Pea. The prince’s parents want to decide for him who he's going to marry. They pile up the mattresses to test their visitor - to see if she is the really a princess. Matthais invites a few children to come up on stage to test for themselves if they feel the little pea. Not moralizing but definitely thought provoking, Grimms tale is transmitted to yet another generation of children by an expert actor and puppeteer. His performance will also give the adults in the audience another vision of what they've always thought to be just a fairy tale for children.
