2013 Price Chopper BHM Step Show

The 2013 Price Chopper Black History Month Step Show is a celebration of culture featuring regional and local Step Teams competing for cash and prizes. This year, because of popular demand, we will also feature the Hypest Dance Contest for area Dance Teams to see who gets Crowned the Hypest Dance Team in the State! The combination of Step and Dance is a natural progression. Over the past 50 years, step has incorporated elements of popular artistic forms including military drills, children’s games, cheerleading, martial arts, hip hop and tap dancing to name just a few.

The event is Hosted by The Poughkeepsie High Step Team and sponsored by: Price Chopper, Key Bank, CSEA, NYSUT, HYPE and b Condoms b Cool. b Safe. B Yourself.
