BARDAVON GALA 2018 TOM JONES

Tom Jones’ 50-year career includes selling over 100 million records! Along with sustaining his popularity as a live performer and recording artist, he has garnered – at the age of 77 – the best reviews of his career for his most recent album, Praise & Blame. Although he is known for his top 40 hits including “It’s Not Unusual,” “Kiss,” “Delilah” and “What’s New Pussycat,” he is first and foremost an artist with a true rhythm and blues soul and has continued to create new music, while also basking in his earlier hits. In 2006 Sir Tom Jones was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II for services to music. Into the Ark will be opening the show.

Funds raised by the Bardavon Gala help underwrite many programs that cannot support themselves — school residencies that bring artists and musicians to local schools, ambitious symphony concerts, special senior events, and more.
