First Annual Youth Summit
Ulster County Youth Bureau director Nina Dawson & Brighter Futures Initiative in collaboration with the Bardavon presents the First Annual Youth Summit at UPAC!
The event theme is: “I Know I Can… Be What I Wanna Be… If I Work Hard at it… I’ll Be What I Wanna Be!”: encouraging youth to put in the work to get their education and to go further and it’s also an effort to bridge the gap between families and agencies and business that might truly help them. The event will featuring great entertainment along with very useful information for families. All for free!
Performances will include Sorority/Fraternity Strollin, Snug Steppaz, singers Brigavelli, Jayd Crain and Alessandra González, Energy Dance Team, Woodcrest School Dance Team, DJ (R) and Leah Gooch Yoga, Meditation and Journaling. Agencies and organizations that will share information and free gifts at the event include: UC Youth Bureau, UC Brighter Futures Initiative, UC Mental Health, Center for Creative Education, Family of Woodstock, People USA, Family of Woodstock, Institute for Family Health, RUPCO, New Paltz Youth Center and the LGBTQ Center.
