Jon Stewart is considered one of America’s top social and comedic voices. Over his 16-year run as host and executive producer of Comedy Central’s The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Stewart redefined political satire in American culture. Since leaving The Daily Show, Stewart has used his voice in a sustained advocacy for 9/11 first responders and war veterans’ health benefits. In 2019, he received the New York City Bronze Medallion for his “tireless advocacy, inspiration, and leadership [helping to] pass the permanent authorization of the September 11th Victim Compensation Fun Act.” He continued using his platform as an advocate for veterans by being instrumental in helping pass the Honoring our PACT Act of 2022, which expands healthcare access and funding to veterans exposed to toxic substances during their service, including burn pits. Stewart also hosted and executive produced the EMMY nominated The Problem with Jon Stewart on AppleTV+ and he is an executive producer on CBS’s The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Stewart is also a New York Times best-selling author and an accomplished film director and producer.

This event will be a phone-free experience. Use of phones, smart watches and accessories, will not be permitted in the performance space. Upon arrival at the venue, all phones, smart watches and accessories will be secured in individual Yondr pouches that will be opened at the end of the event. Guests maintain possession of their devices at all times, and can access them throughout the event only in designated Phone Use Areas within the venue. All devices will be re-secured in Yondr pouches before returning to the performance space. Anyone seen using a device (phone, smart watch or accessories) during the performance will be escorted out of the venue.
