Reel Expressions International Youth Film Festival

The Reel Expressions International Youth Film Festival is an exhibition of youth-produced film annually hosted by Spark Media Project. The festival features short youth-produced films – narratives, animation, experimental and documentary – from both local youth and others from across the world between the ages of 13-19. The festival features an interactive reception and Q&A with youth producers. Since 2013, Reel Expressions has encompassed all of Spark’s goals: to encourage youth creativity, to invigorate our local community through the arts, and to showcase the incredible work done by the next generation of media-makers. Arrive early at 5pm to see the Mayor kick off the festivities during Poughkeepsie First Friday!
