WE’RE IN THE LOOP AT THE BARDAVON… Thanks to the thoughtful generosity of our longtime Members, Julia and Albert Rosenblatt and Rita and Morton Alterman, patrons with hearing loss can now experience our performances—including the Met Live in HD and more—to their fullest.
For patrons without t-coil-equipped hearing aids or cochlear implant devices, portable hearing loop receivers with ear buds are still available for loan from the Bardavon box office during performances. Enjoy the show!
INFRARED LISTENING DEVICES at UPAC for the hearing impaired are available at the Box Office. Our wireless, lightweight headsets can aid patrons with hearing loss of up to 75%. Identification is required as a deposit.
To provide a safer and secure environment in which to enjoy performances, please be aware that all persons entering the venue and their belongings are subject to search, including bag checks and metal detectors. Backpacks and large multi-pocket bags are prohibited. Weapons are prohibited, including but not limited to concealed weapons, firearms, handguns, knives of any size, explosives, and pepper spray and mace containers. Outside food and beverages are also prohibited. The doors generally open 60 minutes before show time. Please plan to arrive early so the security line is not a hassle. The less you are carrying, the easier it will be to pass through security.
The Bardavon reserves the right to eject any person if it can be reasonably determined that the person is disruptive, or might cause harm to himself/herself or others or damage to the venue. Our event staff will make such determination.
Disruptive behavior is defined as, but not limited to, the following:
Audio, video and photographic recording is not permitted at most performances. Should the artist allow such photos to be taken by cell phones, the venue will then permit non-flash photos. Please check with box office staff should you have any further questions.
Some artists request: No cellphones, cameras or recording devices be allowed. In those cases upon arrival, all phones and smart watches will be secured in Yondr pouches that will be unlocked at the end of the show. Guests maintain possession of their phones throughout the night, and if needed, may access their phones at designated Yondr unlocking stations in the lobby. Anyone caught with a cellphone in the venue will be immediately ejected. We appreciate your cooperation in creating a phone-free viewing experience.
