The Roya Gala 2003

An Evening of Song and Dance A Fundraiser for dancers to honor the memory of Roya Curie by recognizing aspiring dancers through the awarding of scholarships in their pursuit of dance education. Performance will include a tribute to past tap stars and tributes to: Donald O'Connor with David Rider and Gregory Hines with Gregory Hines protege, Kendrick Jones, II. Performing will be: Harold "Stumpy" Cromer (of Legendary Stump & Stumpy famed Vaudeville duo), Dolly Baker, Jazz Vocal Artist from Japan, Michele Ribble and Charles Goddertz Margaret Morrison, David Rider, Kendrick Jones II, Yoav Kaddar, The Vanaver Caravan, The Vassar Repertory Dance Theatre, The SUNY New Paltz Dance Ensemble and a premiere by New York City Ballet choreographer Miriam Mahdaviani titled "I Feel Pretty" And local dance groups such as: The American Stardom Dance Academy, the Hudson River Dance Ensemble, Betty Jean's School of Dance, Madeline's Dance Center, The Rhinebeck Dance Centre, Joy's Vocal Stars, the Vanaver Caravan Kids, and Spotlight Dancer - Miss Ashley Marinelli Please come and support your fellow dancers and friends of Roya. All proceeds to benefit the Roya Curie Dance Scholarship Foundation.
