Airplane! (1980)

Food poisoning strikes the crew and passengers of a 747 and it’s up to the alcoholic pilot, his stewardess girlfriend, a glue-sniffing air-traffic controller, and an uncouth doctor to land the plane safely. Along the way, we meet a clutch of stock disaster-movie passengers including a guitar-strumming nun, a sick little girl, a frightened old lady, and two travelers whose "jive" requires subtitles.
