HVP: Behind the Music

The Bardavon is pleased to announce HVP: Behind the Music: a new series on YouTube @BardavonPresents premiering on Saturday September 18 at 8PM.

Behind the Music will introduce you to our guest conductors who will lead the orchestra in our 21-22 season. The series will also feature interviews with upcoming soloists and in-depth conversations with featured composers from each concert; many of whose works will be performed for the first time by the HVP this season.

The premiere episode will focus on our October 2nd season opening concert Reflection which will be led by guest conductor Kyle Ritenauer. It will also include interviews with featured violin soloist Hannah White, Andre Dowell of the Sphinx Organization (an organization dedicated to transforming lives through diversity), composers Valerie Coleman (Seven O’Clock Shout) and Jessie Montgomery (Banner). Tune in and learn more about what you will be hearing onstage at our opening night return to the stage!

If you can’t make the premiere, you can watch anytime up to the concert.
