Tibetan Buddhist monks from Drepung Loseling Monastery will construct a Mandala Sand Painting at Ulster Performing Arts Center in Kingston, NY from the Opening Ceremony on Monday October 27 at 12:00 PM to the Closing Ceremony on Friday October 31 at 12:00 PM. Millions of grains of sand are painstakingly laid into place in this ancient spiritual art form in order to purify and heal the environment and its inhabitants.
This event is free and open to the public.
