Program, Show & Benefit Sponsorships
Enriching the community with quality performing arts programs lies at the heart of what we do, and our generous Program and Show Sponsors help us fulfill this charge.
At the same time, our Sponsors share in the visibility that Bardavon events receive. Sponsorship of our Daytime Series for children; Mainstage Shows, Met Live in HD series, the Free Film Series; or the Annual Gala offers valuable promotional and entertainment benefits. Extras include priority seating, complimentary tickets, invitations to private special events, prominent recognition in our printed and digital materials, and more.
In addition to performances, there are many other special initiatives that need your support, including Education Programs and the Field-Trip Fund. These initiatives also offer great benefits to sponsors.

Annual Gala Sponsorship
Our Annual Gala is Bardavon’s benefit to raise funds to help underwrite programs that cannot support themselves—especially all of our education programs and in-school residencies that bring artists and musicians to local schools, and more. Not to mention that it is a special event of celebration and gratitude for individuals, businesses and foundations that allow us to continue serving this community!
With top guest artists like Norah Jones, Gladys Knight, John Legend, Tony Bennett, Diana Ross, Aretha Franklin, and Harry Belafonte, Gala night is always a sell-out. The festivities begin with a pre-show party featuring cocktails, dancing, and great food catered by a local establishment followed by a spectacular performance at the Bardavon in Poughkeepsie, for Gala Sponsors and $275 ticket-buyers.
The Annual Gala is always a high-profile celebration that draws both new and long-time patrons, and garners excellent press coverage across the Hudson Valley. Our sponsors directly benefit from the wonderful exposure the event receives.

Education Programs
Bardavon Arts Education Programs have touched elementary through high school students for over 30 years.
Unique in-school residencies such as Hip Hop Theater and Seano’s Circus Theatricks are motivating tools that build confidence and enhance learning in all areas. And regular Daytime Series guest artists such as Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia, Step Afrika!, and JazzReach engage and inspire kids of all ages.
For many inner city students, the residency and daytime performance experiences are the only exposure to theater and classical music that they receive all year. But school districts across the Hudson Valley have reduced arts programs to save money, and traditional fundraising sources for our education initiatives have diminished.
Now more than ever, Hudson Valley youth need the Bardavon, and the Bardavon needs your support for its Arts Education Programs!

Field-Trip Fund
The Bardavon has a long history of giving all children and their families the chance to attend quality arts performances at affordable prices. With regular cuts in public school budgets for arts education and field-trips, the need for reduced-price tickets and transportation subsidies has only grown stronger. So, the Bardavon created the Field-Trip Fund in order to reach as many children as possible.
The Field-Trip Fund allows us to offer subsidized tickets at just $3 each for every Daytime Series show. Seats at this price are available on a first-come-first-served basis, and can be obtained by filing the online application. Our goal this year is to offer 6,500 subsidized tickets for Daytime Series shows to Hudson Valley students.
A fully tax-deductible gift of $1,000 enables 333 elementary through high school students to attend a live arts performance at the Bardavon or UPAC. For many of these kids, field trips to one of our Daytime Series productions may be their only exposure to a live arts performance in a given year!
Shows like Goodnight Moon and the Runaway Bunny, The Boy Who Could Sing Pictures, and Sugar Skull! A Día de Muertos Musical Adventure offer valuable experiences that create lasting positive impressions for thousands every year.
Your gift to the Field-Trip Fund will help us continue to reach Hudson Valley kids with beautiful, engaging performances that will stay with them for a lifetime.
